About the Ripper Artwork:
Arguably the most iconic skateboard graphic of all time, "The Ripper" was originally illustrated in 1983 by the legendary Powell-Peralta artist V.C. Johnson. Initially used as a "Bones Sold Here" dealer window sticker, the artwork quickly transcended its original purpose to adorn t-shirts and, eventually, decks. The Ripper design has remained a cornerstone of Powell-Peralta's collection for over three decades.
